MMV: Dwight on SNL, Jim Carrey on physics and hockey bloopers

February 26, 2007

Today on Monday Morning Videos: Highlights from Rainn Wilson’s hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, a funny appearance by Jim Carrey on Conan’s “Late Night”, a classic Seinfeld moment, and the way not to start a NHL hockey fight.

I greatly enjoyed Rainn Wilson’s hosting duties on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. He was very funny and had some excellent comedic timing. Here’s two clips from the show…

  • Next, Wilson stars in another “Digital Sketch” about a funny office meeting with a wide cast of charecters. My favorite is the talking sub sandwich! :

More after the jump…

Next, Jim Carrey stopped by the “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” show to plug his new movie, “The Number 23.” The conversation took a strange, academic turn (WARNING: Language is PG-13 in parts):

Do you ever wonder if people actually read petitions that they sign? Comedians/magicians Penn and Teller sent their staff to a concert and asked environmentalist types to sign a petition banning dihydrogen monoxide (H2O … which is water!).

Next, this is NOT how to start a NHL hockey fight … check out the smooth moves of the Flames’ Dion Phaneuf against then-Canucks (now Penguins) player Jarkko Ruutu.

Finally, I need a good George Costanza moment to end this post. Check out the famous answering machine message from Seinfeld.
