GIANT magazine has put out their list of the 50 best 80s TV commercials. All of which are available via YouTube.
Some of them I can remember vividly. Like the Max Headroom New Coke ad, the famous “I learned from watching you” drug PSA, and the ad for the Freedom Rock album.
My favorite of the 50?: Jason Alexander (before Seinfeld fame) doing a McDonalds promo for their new McDLT sandwich, which had hot and cold box compartments to keep each side apart.
