Vista to make early arrival Nov. 30?

November 2, 2006

Vista screenshotCelebration for Microsoft geeks!  The new-and-long-awaited Microsoft operating system, Windows Vista, is expected to be released by month’s end, according to a report on ITWire.  Previously, all versions of Vista were expected to be issued in early 2007.

Vista will be released on that date in manufacturer-built systems and to tech journalists and “other selected parties,” according to the article.

Oooh…I hope I’m lucky enough to be selected…

But consumers can expect copies of the software on the store shelves in January, the originally-scheduled date.
